Special guests from Google are joining Senior Planet to talk about different ways you can stay connected! Google will offer a Zoom workshop focused on Gmail and Hangouts on Tuesday, May 19th. Following a 20-minute presentation, Google volunteers will answer questions via smaller, 1-hour virtual breakout sessions.

Sending and Receiving Money with Zelle® Tuesday, May 19th · 10:30-11:30am
With the rise in popularity of person-to-person (P2P) payments, it’s now easier than ever to send and receive money electronically. In this lecture, you’ll learn what P2P payments are and about Zelle, a P2P payment service that’s available in many online and mobile banking apps. You’ll learn the everyday benefits of using Zelle through online and mobile banking and see how it’s used through your bank or credit union’s website or mobile app. We’ll also cover important tips for using Zelle safely. Senior Planet and Zelle have partnered to offer this lecture.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll go over how to get the most out of online banking. We’ll review features such as alerts, bill pay, and Zelle, a service that allows you to send and receive money through your online or mobile banking app. You’ll use a demo online banking app to practice sending money with Zelle, discuss relevant and useful times to use it, and learn important safety tips. Senior Planet and Zelle have partnered to offer this workshop.
