Without a doubt, these are heart-breaking, soul-crushing times that threaten the very spirit of this country. For six decades, PSS has been serving the very people most profoundly impacted by the racial and social injustices and health disparities plaguing this nation. During this most profound time of anguish and sense of powerlessness, PSS wants its community to know that we are here for you.
To all of our staff, clients, volunteers, friends and supporters… please know:
We hear you. We stand with you. We will be there for you.

1) 1-888-NYC WELL (692-9355)
New Yorkers are in this together—please know that you’re not alone! Free, confidential mental health support is available in multiple languages, 24/7 through THRIVE. Call 1-888-NYC-WELL to talk to a trained counselor, regardless of immigration or insurance status.
2) Hero Hotline 888 217 HERO (4376)
Community Health Resources (CHR), the state’s comprehensive nonprofit behavioral healthcare agency, launched a new hotline to provide immediate assistance to anyone struggling with acute stress during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
