September Gigs

I hope this “last” weekend of summer gives you skies as blue as the one in the picture…if blue skies are your thing, that is. If they’re not…I don’t know what to say.I have a few events coming up in September that I want to tell you about (because I hope you’ll come). Here we go:Friday, Sept. 1st2 sets: 7 & 8:30 pm
Andrea Wolper Trio with Paul Bollenback and Ken Filiano
Tipsy Grape Wine Bar

I’ve been having a great time singing at Tipsy Grape, a new wine bar in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The owners and staff are just lovely, they have a delicious food and a well-curated selection of mostly biodynamic and organic wines, and there’s no cover charge: just come, relax, have some wine, eat, listen to music.

Reservations aren’t necessary, but Fridays get busy (which, actually, probably won’t be the case this Friday, summer’s last hurrah—so PLEASE come!!).

DIRECTIONS
110 Smith Street (@ corner of Pacific St.). Take the F or G train to Bergen St. (3rd stop in from Manhattan). Exit at the end of the train that says Smith and Bergen, and you’ll be a short 2 blocks away. It’s also a slightly longer walk from the 2/3/4/5/A/C/R trains. If you’re driving, it’s still summertime and the parkin’ is [relatively] easy. You might recall that my long time trio with Michael Howell and Ken Filiano was supposed to play in Cobble Hill Park in July, but the weather did not cooperate with the original date or the rain date! We’ve rescheduled for late September, and the weather WILL cooperate. It must! Saturday, Sept. 234-5 pm
