Hi Dan Schneider,
Reply to this email for info on sponsorship opportunitiesWhat’s new this week?Under Apply I list more grant programs, accelerator opportunities, a programs to facilitate access to venture capital in NYC. It was a good week of digging.
Good ReadingCities Foster Serendipity, But Can They Do It When Workers Are At Home (NY Times) This one really got me thinking. If you subscribe to the idea, as I do, that chance encounters create value then how much chance is sufficient? It reminds me of the idea / question of ‘quality time’ that working parents used to cite as making up for reduced time with their kids. Some things can’t be forced. The article also touches on “Illegible ideas” – new to me – as ideas that are big, unclear and can’t be expressed on Slack, Zoom, or in a white paper. Like I said, this one got me thinking about ‘known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns’. Ya know what I mean?
