LanternTix Community Partner Opportunity: Trophy Boys at MCC
Hey HTE Community Member Leaders!
Please forgive my B’cc as I always take the time to email everyone individually to say hello, but due to some holiday travels, I am sending this out quickly to make sure the ball gets rolling. Please forgive me and I hope you all are hanging in there during these challenging times!
I hope this email finds you doing well! I am writing to you today with a new show update. LanternTix is continuing our partnership with the wonderful off-Broadway non-profit MCC Theater for their upcoming play Trophy Boys. We have a special promo code for $18 tickets set aside for just Harriet Tubman Effect LanternTix community members! As a community partner, we wanted to reach out to see if you were interested in this show. If so, please feel free to share the links below with your community to sign up individually. Unfortunately, we are not able to do any group outings with this show.

Trophy BoysTo Sign Up, CLICK HERE!In a culture set on punishing and criticizing men for just existing, the Trophy Boys prepare for the final debate of their undefeated high school careers. Going up against their sister school, they get a debate topic so weighted there’s no way they could possibly win—or could they? What begins as a riotously funny satire turns into a sharp exploration of power and privilege, from high school to the highest circles of political influence.
Following multiple sold-out runs in Australia, playwright EMMANUELLE MATTANA’s TROPHY BOYS makes its American premiere in a thrilling new production featuring Mattana as part of the cast. Directed by 2024 Tony Award® winner DANYA TAYMOR (JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN, THE OUTSIDERS), TROPHY BOYS is a provocative comedy about the singular pursuit of victory and the cost of reaching it.
