Free June And July Writing Through Art Poetry Workshops At The Clark Art Institute And The Smith College Museum Of Art

Greetings, friends! Happy solstice! Happy summer!
I hope this finds you as well as possible as we continue to navigate this threatening time. Writing provides us with useful balm and strength, whether we are focusing on new work or a revision. We must keep our imaginations open. Our ability to create can offer us necessary sustenance and connection.
For me, teaching and writing poetry and reviewing manuscripts of prose and poetry are life-saving. In addition to having new poems published in The Painted Bride Quarterly, The Patterson Literary Review, Keystone Poetry: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania, Tendrils, and Shadowplay, work from my new manuscript just appeared in Tar River and is forthcoming in Plume!
Thanks to the generosity of the Ashfield Local Cultural Council, the Clark Art Institute, the Belding Memorial Library, and the Lilly Library, two free Writing Through Art Poetry Workshops are taking place on June 25 and July 23. I hope you can join me!
There are 2 last minute openings for the June 25th Clark Art Institute’s Writing Through Art Poetry Workshop. And 13 spaces available for the July 23 Smith College Museum of Art Writing Through Art Poetry Workshop in Northampton. Below is info about the workshops and signing up.
Wishing you the balm of reading, writing, and enjoying the natural world. I hope to hear from you soon for a manuscript review, coaching, and/or to attend the summer Writing Through Art Poetry Workshops —
Jan
