Community! In this video WTP members Mary Lynn Owen, Lee Osorio, Kira Rockwell, and Quintin Humphrey answer the question: How would you describe WTP to someone who has never heard of our organization?Click Here to Support WTP!Working Title Playwrights is a community of artists and theatre-makers who lift up one another and support playwrights in the development of new work. Playwrights are the core of our community and the focus of our organization. They bring us their scripts at every stage in their creative process from the very first draft to drafts that are nearly ready for production. WTP provides a nurturing and supportive environment for the development of their work. Actors, dramaturgs, and directors provide the skills that make all our developmental programming – the Ethel Woolson Lab, the Table Series, and Monday Night Development Workshops – possible. Playwrights are well served by the caliber of these participating artists. Donors – including foundations, government entities, and you, our cherished individual donors – make everything we do possible. Donors are a critical and integral part of our work. Supportive individuals are also encouraged to attend all our public programming and provide their input toward the development of new work. Please support our community, a community of which you are a vital part, and make your donation today:Click Here to Support WTP! |
