Reimagining a New World of Community Engagement

Dear Friends,

I wanted to touch base with everyone and ask how you’re doing. During these challenging times, B-Bullard LLC remains dedicated to supporting organizations, corporations, and entrepreneurs. We’ve been keeping an eye on the global changes, and honestly, storytelling still stands as the most crucial element for us. It’s how we gather, document, and spotlight what keeps our community thriving.

If the story doesn’t get the attention it deserves, the end game might not hit the mark we aim for. That’s why our tagline is STORYTELLING IS THE REVOLUTION™.

We’re celebrating our 11th year and have inspired and motivated a variety of platforms – and we’re just getting started! In these times, when America and the world are figuring out what really matters, we pride ourselves on sitting down with our clients to flush out their vision. It’s a win-win to build digital and media strategies that are not only sustainable but also have a long lifespan to grow with your needs.

I also hope you’ll join me on February 20th for the Brooklyn Museum’s “Brooklyn Talks.” I’ll be in conversation with artist Bisa Butler, whose portrait of Chisholm is featured in Toward Joy: New Frameworks for American Art. She’s a textile artist known for her vibrant, larger-than-life quilted portraits. The event will be moderated by Stephanie Sparling Williams, the Andrew W. Mellon Curator of American Art at the Brooklyn Museum. It’s going to be inspiring, and it is always great to bring the community together. To attend: https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/calendar/event/brooklyn-talks-bisa-butler-barbara-bullard-february-2025/

Here’s what some of our colleagues and clients have to say about us:

  • With her opening statement, Barbara Bullard set the tone for the Democratic National Convention event to honor Shirley Chisholm’s enduring legacy. The history we stand to make wouldn’t be possible without Shirley Chisholm, and I am grateful for Barbara’s ability to remind us all of that reality, and the power of coalition building. In her declaration that smart women, young people, and people of color were the core of Chisholm’s coalition in 1972, Barbara reminded us all that these voters continue to be at the forefront of progressive political action in 2024.  – Juanita Tolliver, Author, Host, Opinion Writer, MSNBC Political Analyst
  • Barbara Bullard is an exceptional producer, crafting transformative tours that tackle vital community topics. Her ability to navigate uncharted paths grants students access to societal issues, seamlessly integrating them into their academic studies in real time. The experiences she orchestrates are impeccably tactile and motivating, demonstrating a profound understanding of the lasting relevance of stories both on and off campus, viewed through a strategic lens. My students and I conclude with a collective sense of hopefulness and the belief that we too can effect change. – Dr. Tim Cunningham, Social Science and Cultural Studies, Pratt Institute
  • Barbara’s production coordination work was so helpful for Harriet Tubman Effect’s yearly talk show and film activities. Her ability to build teams and execute production needs is superb. We felt extremely at ease and in good hands with Barbara at the forefront of our work. Her team was responsible, effective and beyond prepared for the job!  – Nicole Johnson, Founder & Creative Director, The Harriet Tubman Effect
  • Barbara Bullard and her dynamic company B-Bullard LLC exemplify excellence! They: produce innovative programs and campaigns; are ahead of the curve in design, marketing, and social justice advocacy; excel at creative storytelling; partner collaboratively with diverse organizations and institutions. I had a truly inspiring experience participating in a complex, multi-faceted initiative their incredible team produced. – Nadine Hack, CEO beCause Global Consulting
