| The Music Lives On: Cassandra Kubinski + Sawyer Fredericks for Caffe LenaHey! We’ve crossed the threshold! 2025 is here. I hope it has brought with it an infusion of spicy, sparkly new energy for you, for whatever you’re up to this magnificent year, to help you along in the sweetest, most delicious ways. Happy New Year, friends. I was grateful to ring out 2024 playing Saratoga’s City Center on a festival alongside one of my favorite songwriters, Ben Folds (pix below!) An honor, and a blast! As I look at what I have to share with you today, I notice quite a few blooms… the vibrant, fun blossoming of seeds planted last year, or even further back. Remember, even in the dead of Winter when it seems like nothing is happening, the seeds you plant in thought, word, and action will blossom brilliantly if you tend to them. So, in the words of one of my favorite musicals, Come to my garden…LIVE EXPERIENCES: CONCERTS + COLLABSNEW YORK, NY SATURDAY JAN 18 Episcopal Actors Guild (1 East 29 St) 7:30 pm Soulful Music for Interesting Times: A Benefit Featuring Cassandra Kubinski and Scott McClatchy Doors 7 pm GET TICKETS SARATOGA, NY THURSDAY FEB 20 Caffe Lena Peter Muller and the Kindred Souls + Cassandra Kubinski 7 pm (doors 6:30) All Ages GET TICKETS THE MUSIC LIVES ON (VIDEO) Speaking of Caffe Lena, after Sawyer Fredericks and I collaborated on Burn It Down last year, I invited him to write a new second verse for the song I wrote last year to benefit this small, non-profit independent venue that has been so helpful, supportive and meaningful to both of our careers. You can see The Music Lives On at this link or the top link in this email. If you love this type of live music, we invite you to consider making a donation to Caffe Lena’s Annual Fund (still going for a couple days more). No amount is too small. Thanks for your generosity. BURN IT DOWN: LAST CALL FOR MERCH! After our local connection grew into the smoldering fire of our epically acoustic recording of Burn It Down…after half a dozen wonderful shows around the Northeast…and hearing how the song has joined you on your own journeys of passion and transformation…Sawyer Fredericks and I are wrapping up our ongoing collab (for a while, anyway!). But we are LOVING seeing pix of you guys in your new Burn It Down hoodies and tees, and with your candles! Burn It Down MERCH is OVER at the end of January, so ORDER YOURS NOW! We are A) incredibly grateful for your support, and B) excited to take pix with you sporting the merch at shows this year.
