Hi Friend,From BetaNYC:  Do you want to outline the future of NYC’s government tech & design policy?

We’re rewriting the Peoples’ Roadmap and want your input!

In 2013, New Yorkers from across the city helped write the Peoples’ Roadmap for a Digital NYC. < > This document outlined 34 policy ideas, led to the creation of several programs, transparency laws, and made the city’s open data law/program permanent. It’s time to update this roadmap

NYC Peoples’ Tech Assemblies are events and facilitated conversations to share our voices on tech issues. The goal is to inspire New Yorkers and decision makers to think big and tread boldly.

Next week, we’re launching an at-home toolkit to host your conversation. Afterwards, we’ll ask you to summarize the conversation so we can incorporate the ideas, questions and concerns into a resource for everyone.

If you’d like to host a conversation, join us for office hours on Mondays or Fridays < > or sign up to our newsletter < >. Let our voices directly inform the incoming administration and Council.
