Our Network is more valuable than ever, as a force against rampant ageism, an ally of older workers in jeopardy, and a resource in tight-budget times.

We’re in our own transition, recruiting a new Executive Director and moving from our affiliation with to a new home with Network member Inspiring Service. YOU can ensure the Network’s success by taking two action steps.

  • Share the Executive Director job description and encourage applications by the August 8 deadline.We’re on a fast track to recruit an entrepreneurial Network lead. It’s a great opportunity for a Network member, or someone in your network.

  • Answer our one-question survey by July 24. In June, we launched a strategic planning process led by Janine Vanderburg at Changing the Narrative Colorado. Now we want you to weigh in on our one-question survey: How can the Encore Network best provide you and your organization with value?

    The All-Our Ideas format lets you vote on other people’s ideas and share your thoughts. You will be presented with ideas, two at a time, to choose one or click “I can’t decide.” At any point, you can add your ideas, which become part of the list of options.

    The survey will keep presenting you with choices, including some options you have already seen. We recommend clicking on the choices for about 3 minutes, or 20-25 rounds. Think of it like going to the optometrist for a pair of glasses, where she tries different lenses and asks: Is this one better, or this one?

    We’ll report results in August.
