Many of you are in this e-mail because you have either recently witnessed or experienced racially charged or general insensitive aggressions in an institution or directly from a leader in your community. Some of you have been following the BLM movement and are looking for some guidance/help sustaining the way you support the vulnerable communities in your life.
We know these aggressions have existed for centuries and MOVErs are interested in providing you with tools to navigate your advocacy.
I’d like to invite you to join us in organizing around these aggressions. On Saturday August 1st, we are hosting several introductory meetings to discuss participation in a non-violent dismantling of systemic racism workshop.
If you are interested in a commitment to an egalitarian, communal movement based in education and developing methods to strengthen your advocacy for vulnerable communities, this is the meeting for you! Join us to learn more about how we can work together to dismantle systemic racism with storytelling and acts of communal resilience.
