Bio: Yohei Suzuki has been involved with businesses of international promotions, marketing &consulting, event planning & management, music, video & theater productions for many years. Yohei focuses on multi-ethnic communities to bring about innovative business opportunities. As a bridge between the United States and Asian Countries, he has worked with the US & Japanese governmental agencies, the United Nations agencies, business associations, and various business firms. He has been helping small & medium sized businesses of the United States and Japan expanding business opportunities internationally, such as marketing, PR, planning promotional activities, events, and corporate programs, exhibiting at international trade shows, etc. Some of his experiences include: assistant producer & promoter of the Sakura Cherry Blossom Festival in New York: 100th Anniversary of the gifting of cherry trees from Japan to New York, that he was honored by Congressman Charles B. Rangel for its economic and cultural impact on local communities. He has also worked with International Jazz Day programs by the UNESCO on educational events, concerts and live-streaming jazz music shows, co-produced Hip Hop & Anime Sneaker Live Battles in New York, anime shows, DJ & dance competitions, co-produced a concert with Japanese gospel groups at Apollo Theater, Co-produced cherry blossom-related programs, promoted local tourism in New York and Japan etc. He has also worked with Thelonious Monk Jr. to promote jazz educational programs in Japan. He officially worked as a promoter & coordinator for Osaka Asian Dreams Jazz Competition and the International Jazz Day in Osaka. In 2014, he co-produced Brooklyn Japan Youth Baseball Program with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Long Island University Brooklyn, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Brooklyn Cyclones and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
