Bio: I'm the founder of Advantages of Age, a social enterprise created to challenge the media narrative around ageing. Established in London, UK, we host events for those over 50+, a Business Academy to help support older people in starting their own business and the AofA website is regularly referenced by psychotherapists as a source of inspirational content around ageing. Our Facebook group of over 3k members is very active and a place for our members to share stories and support each other.
Aside from AofA, I also am the founder of Frugl, a tech-startup that helps monetise public wi-fi by sharing with its users location-based deals and offers for purchase, and for which we offer the wi-fi operator a revenue share on commission.
For over 20 years I was a PR Director, working with some of the world's entertainment companies including LazyTown, an award-winning children's television programme where I was the global PR & Marketing Director. My greatest achievement was opening the doors to the White House, helping to create collaboration between LazyTown and Michelle Obama's Let's Move campaign for children.
