Bio: Suzanne Harvey is an experienced consultant for business and industry development and international marketing specializing in the design and implementation of a wide range of economic development, marketing and investment projects. With more than 25 years experience, Ms. Harvey applies her expertise to formulate and execute comprehensive research, marketing, technical, training, product design/adaptation and market entry programs targeted to industrial, consumer, investment and business sectors. This includes the organization of fairs, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and seminars. Ms. Harvey’s clients include U.S. and international private sector corporations, government agencies, and industry associations. As a result of long-time collaboration with the civil sector, national and international NGO’s, international development entities including U.S. Government agencies, The World Bank, The United Nations and The Commonwealth Secretariat, and because of her strong relationship with private industry executives as well as public and civil sector officials, Ms. Harvey is able to play a key role as liaison between all segments. Prior to her work in international marketing, Ms. Harvey was employed in fashion retailing serving as a buyer for the well known fashion leader, Bloomingdales, as well as buying for mainstay retailing chains as Vornado and Orbachs. In addition to writing and publishing trend forecasts and training manuals for specific sectors, Ms Havey is a frequent presenter at marketing seminars, workshops and conferences both in the U.S. and abroad. Suzanne Harvey is a member of the Board of Directors of three UN affiliated Non Governmental Organizations (NGO), The Peacemaker Corps, US National Committee for UNWomen, Friends of the United Nations and has served on the board of the Metropolitan Council of the American Jewish Congress, chaired the International Committee for the Met Council at AJC, and is active in local, regional and international civic affairs.
