Bio: Suzan Fruchtman provides strategic business analysis and project management supporting marketing, finance, sales and operations teams. Her resume includes some of the biggest companies in consumer products, media/entertainment, and retail banking. Early in her career, after earning a BA in Critical Studies at the University of Southern California School of Cinema-TV (graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude), she worked in the entertainment industry as a Financial Analyst at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. Born and bred in Miami Beach, FL, she returned to the East Coast to earn her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. After graduation, she followed her dreams to live in New York City and worked for Columbia House, Chase Manhattan Bank, Focus Features, and Time Inc. Switching to consumer products, she worked at Colgate Palmolive as a Promotions Analyst utilizing syndicated data to measure the effectiveness of company sales performance and competitive activity. Recognized for her creative problem solving and project management skills, Suzan was assigned special projects including building new Trade Investment tools, developing new processes for the management of shopper marketing analytic testing, and managing the transition to a new web-based data platform. Recently she has applied her broad skill set to a variety of consulting assignments including revenue analysis at a travel consortium, project management at an advertising company, and e-commerce merchandising at a startup. She has also been dedicated to helping others get back to work, founding the Duke NY Job Angels program and running the Upper East Side Networking group. Suzan’s other passions include international travel and college sports. She lives in Yorkville with her foster cat, TyTy.
