Bio: Susan Kelley is a VP in the Global Technology Group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. KBW is a boutique investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector. At KBW, Susan is responsible for managing enterprise projects across the front and back office, with a focus in the Sales and Trading vertical. Prior to joining KBW, Susan spent several years at Deutsche Bank in trading room technology and was a member of the team that developed the first electronic Order Management System for Cash Equities. With over 15 years of experience in trading system technology, Susan has been involved in building trading platforms for energy companies, and buy-side and sell-side firms in the financial services sector. Susan has always had a passion for the transformational power technology welds in shaping the modern human experience. Her hands-on involvement in the evolution of electronic trading has enabled her to participate in the rise of the capital markets over the past two decades, and experience first-hand, the impact this has had on the global economy and the global village. Susan has a degree in Science, Technology and Society from Vassar College. She did graduate studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Susan is involved in several professional and non-profit organizations. She is active in the Women’s Fund of New Jersey, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and children in the state of New Jersey. Susan is a fitness enthusiast and has a special interest in women’s and senior fitness.
