Bio: Dr. Sheryl Smikle is a foreign/second language adult educator who has held administrative and instructional roles over the last 30 years. Additionally, she also held various managerial and executive roles in the financial services sector, working for Fortune 500 Companies in the human resources, compliance, and learning and development functions. As an academic, Dr. Smikle has served as an administrator at her alma mater Vassar College and as an associate dean of a proprietary college. During her tenure, she was instrumental in helping this institution transform from a vocational business school into a college that attained Middle States accreditation. This same institution successfully established several online programs, including a baccalaureate in project management, which Dr. Smikle co-developed.
