
Bio: Roland Peralta is a proven entrepreneur and manufacturing executive, with 29 years of experience launching and developing successful manufacturing companies, building brands, and leading marketing campaigns. Roland is a natural leader with strong human relations and business management skills and the capability for the creative, strategic critical thinking needed for early-stage companies. As founder and CEO of Kazu Apparel Group ( est. 1985), Roland built this manufacturer and importer of upscale women's clothing that sold goods to Ann Taylor, Talbots, Lands’ End, Brooks Brothers and others into a company with $35 million in annual sales. In 2000 with 120 employees and 5 global offices, Roland sold his interest in the business to Lana Fashion Wear Hong Kong. In 2003 Roland co-founded the Roy Teeluck Salon, an upscale Manhattan beauty business located on East 57th Street, attracting celebrity clientele, successfully growing the New York business to $2.7 million in sales with 38 employees. In 2011, Roland began working as a strategic consultant with Julien Farel, an internationally renowned hair stylist at his startup anti-aging hair care product company Julien Farel Haircare. JFHC currently sells to luxury retailers throughout the world. He was hired as Chief Logistics Officer and served as interim COO of the company managing a multitude of responsibilities and initiatives including brand strategy, marketing strategy, e-commerce strategy, manufacturing, sourcing, business development, international retail distribution business development, hotel amenities development, human resources, financial analysis, real estate transactions, licensing, EU Compliance, contract negotiations. In 2014, Roland co-founded Nutraceutical Wellness LLC, manufacturers of NUTRAFOL, a patent pending next generation nutricosmetic for hair loss and thinning hair for both men and women. NUTRAFOL can be purchased online as well as prestige retailers worldwide. Roland currently serves as the President.
