Bio: Rachel Pincus is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. An English and Science in Society major, her interests and areas of experience include creative writing, journalism, the social sciences, and the visual arts, including photography, for which she won a NFAA young ARTS Silver award in 2009. Her work has appeared in Gothamist and will soon appear in Salon, and she currently blogs for the technology and business-oriented publications PSFK and Voxburner. She is a New York native and attributes much of her inspiration to the fervent energy of the mean streets.
