Bio: I started working in New York City real estate many years ago. I find it to be a fascinating market. I love working with my clients. I have met people I never would have had the opportunity to meet without the backdrop of city properties.
I love NYC because it is truly a series of neighborhoods and communities. It is an old city with a diverse and fascinating history. It makes me happy to know some idiosyncratic facts about whatever neighborhood in which I happen to be showing property. For example, Edgar Allen Poe had a room in a farm on West 84th Street where he wrote "The Raven". Enrico Caruso and Babe Ruth both lived in The Ansonia on West 73rd. Peter Stuyvesant is said to be haunting the old church on Tenth Street which also where Patti Smith played her first gig. The list goes on and on...
Personally I have a background in English and creative writing which sometimes gives me a different perspective on the business world.
I feel very fortunate to have had the work experience I have had.
The market goes up, the market goes down, but New York City is eternal.
