Bio: Writer, actor, acting coach and teacher currently residing in Hollywood, California is a graduate of Vassar College, where he majored in Drama. He has been a professional actor for over 25 years and has appeared in such films as “Billy Bathgate” starring Dustin Hoffman, “Frankie and Johnny” starring Al Pacino, and “Presumed Innocent”, starring Harrison Ford. His television credits include “One Life to Live”, “Saturday Night Live” and the HBO’s series, “Carnival”, among others. He has also performed in many commercials, plays and industrials. As an acting teacher, he has originated acting and writing workshops focusing on the artist’s creative process and the development of his or her imagination. His workshops are widely recognized as innovative and inspiring within the Hollywood community. He has also worked as a professional acting coach for many years, and has coached several well-known and respected TV and film stars. As a writer, he has just completed his first novel, a mystery that takes place in the Midwest, and has written and had performed several of his plays in and around Los Angeles. His is currently in development on several screenplays and is a member of the west coast arm of Naked Angels Theater Company; he is also a contributor to Ensemble Studio Theater Sunday Best playwriting program. He has studied with many gifted teachers from some of the foremost acting schools in the world including: The Actor’s Studio, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Neighborhood Playhouse, and The Jerzy Grotowski Studio. Nick also works part-time as an English teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
