Bio: Mieko Mendez is the founder and president of M. Mendez Consulting, Inc., providing remote bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial consulting services to small businesses in various industries. As a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor, she assists clients to optimize their overall financial control and growth. Formerly with Deloitte's Japanese Business Unit, she is also experienced in human resources and translation. Her language skills are native-level in both Japanese and English. In a previous life, Mieko was a conservatory-trained classical clarinetist, performing on-stage and in internationally recognized film and CD productions.
