Bio: A special education program development specialist by trade, Mike has been working in the social impact space for the past several years, constantly exploring ways to help leave a positive footprint in the world. Recently, Mike has been working towards launching a new online social community called bYLLboard, a subsidiary of his social impact business, beYouLoveLife, as well as the beYouLoveLife Impact Music series, another of several vehicles of change being employed by bYLL. beYouLoveLife is an authentic grassroots movement with a mission to inspire people to love and accept themselves just as they are. Through digital, social, experiential and strategic partnerships we are redefining the way inspirational content travels throughout the world. Mike currently works out of his office at Pace University where he runs the Pleasantville Lab School at Pace University, an inclusive post-secondary education program for individuals ages 18-21 who have intellectual disability. His passion for special education comes from his life long experiences supporting his younger brother, who has ID, along with epilepsy, diabetes and bi-polar disorder. Mike resides nearby in Briarcliff Manor, NY with his wife, Ali, son Rider, daughter Joey and dog Max. Mike and Ali, both originally from Philadelphia, share a love of music, exemplified in their fateful meeting in New Orleans during Jazzfest, which they continue to attend every year.
