Bio: Born in the resort town of Far Rockaway in the borough of Queens, NY, Michael Schwartz is a commercial film editor and a 20 year veteran of the New York advertising scene. A graduate of Columbia University and with past lives in journalism and music, Michael’s career includes commercial work with such clients as AT&T, Fedex and Campbell’s Soup Company for agencies like BBDO, Y&R and FCB along with promotional work for musicians like Billy Joel, Pink Floyd and Fiona Apple as well as PSA work for the Partnership for Drugfree America, National Coalition for the Homeless and A recipient of many awards including Telly Awards, New York Festivals Awards and the AICP editor’s award which is a permanent exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art for the “Art of the Television Commercial”, Michael is very proud of the fundraising films he’s done for clients like The Happy Hearts Fund, Autism Speaks and the Humane Society. Michael currently lives in Queens with his wife and son.
