Bio: Matt is currently the Director of Research for Magni Asset Management where he oversees the research process for a group of global equity funds covering over 40 countries. Prior to joining Magni he was the Chief Operating Officer for eStandards Forum, a website which tracked the compliance of countries with international financial standards. He was involved in all aspects of the start-up and ongoing operation of eStandards from its founding in 2000, including methodology development, outreach to governments, oversight of the research process, publishing of a weekly report, and design of the website. Prior to joining eStandards Forum, he worked as a Program Officer for the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, a consultancy and advisory firm on issues related to the reform of the global financial architecture. From 1995-1997 he worked as a Business Development volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in Ukraine. Mr. Zimmer has a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a Master of Business of Administration from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida. He is fluent in English and speaks conversational Russian.
