Bio: He is an alumnus of Bowie State University with a BS in Mass Communications. He also is pursuing his MBA the from University of Phoenix. He is the COO of the Alonzo James Group an Entertainment Management Company & Groundbreaking Entertainment LLC. Lex’s company Alonzo James Group has clients past and present that include music artists, producers, models, and scriptwriters. Groundbreaking Entertainment LLC is premier music & Entertainment Company in North Carolina. He is also a minority owner of Control the Crowd Executive Protection. He is the Public Address announcer for Morgan State University Football & a commentator for Heritage Sports Radio Network for football & basketball. Lex is a member of the Grammys Chapter in Washington D.C. Lex also works with the Washington Redskins Public Relations Gameday Staff during the fall football season. After graduation Lex spent some time in the Sports Department at WTTG Fox 5. While there he worked on the Redskins Pregame Show, produced the high school football segment & wrote scripts for on air talent Steve Buckhantz, Gus Johnson, & Chick Hernandez. Lex has covered the CIAA Tournament, MEAC Tournament, NBA, NFL, NCAA, high school football & basketball games, and semi pro football games. Lex hosted the first Bowie State Football coaches show “In the Doghouse” which aired on Home Team Sports, which is now Comcast Sports Net. Lex freelanced with HBCU Properties for their TV package during football season & the games aired on MASN Sports Network. Lex co created Sports One Television & Entertainment in 2001. With Sports One TV he produced cheerleader competitions, recruiting videos for colleges, produced live sporting events, a sports documentary “22 seconds to Glory”, and a television show “As She See’s It” an all women paneled sports show. Now Lex is working with Valiant Entertainment Sports Management working in the same capacity.
