Bio: Artists for Trauma, a 501 c3 non-profit - Founder and Executive Director. CYAnalogies LLC – CEO. After surviving a near death experience from a 2008 helicopter crash and involvement with the arts as an integral part of her dramatic recovery, Laura has first hand experience and understanding of how valuable artistic engagement is to physical, emotional and spiritual recovery. She is an involved human, businesswoman and volunteer in her communities. Laura was Co-Creator and Producer of multi-media event, The Laura Project- “Remembered – Interpretations of Reconstruction”, held in Santa Monica, California, March 2011. A patron and appreciator of the arts with over 20+ years exposure and engagement with corporate business structure; Laura aims to provide immediately recovering military and civilian trauma survivors with artistic engagement for positive benefit to their recovery.
