Bio: Kathy Myers has spent over 20 years in zoos, nature centers, and conservation organizations motivating visitors to take action for wildlife and humans. She has provided memorable, creative, and transformative experiences at the San Diego Zoo, Polar Bears International, TEDxSanDiego, and University of San Diego. As a writer and producer, Kathy has made educational and short films for San Diego Zoo, Atlantis Resort at the Bahamas, and One Day on Earth. She is currently on the lookout for new writing and producing opportunities to collaborate with fellow optimists who believe positive change is possible the power of TV and film. With a Master's degree in nonprofit leadership from University of San Diego, Kathy applies her passion for positive change to working with for-purpose businesses, social enterprises, and nonprofits that are dedicated to the triple bottom line of people, planet, and prosperity. Inspired by her love of storytelling and informed by the Experience Economy philosophy, Kathy works with organizations to create a guest/client experience that generates emotional connection and stories for clients to share with their friends. She also helps creative people get organized, and organized people feel creative. She has a unique knack for bridging the gap between the worlds of creative and admin, and the worlds of business and nonprofits. Kathy serves on the board of Every Monday Matters, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring a new normal of goodness, one Monday at a time, where individuals and organizations understand how much and why they matter to themselves, the community around them, and the world.
