Bio: Karen is a cantor at Saint Patrick's R.C. Church in NY since 2006 and sings weddings, anniversaries, memorials and funerals there, as well as at other churches. She has a BA from California State University, Bakersfield, (Country Music West), and has resided for the last 30 years between New York and Los Angeles with her husband, entertainment professional,Tony Travis. She has performed in Community Theater productions, while also working different jobs on Wall Street over the years. Karen recently made her YouTube debut in collaboration with accompanist Mary Carmosino, in performance at the Dec 15, 2013 “First Monday's Hurricane Sandy Benefit” at Webster Hall in NYC. Karen & Mary are now developing a Musical/Cabaret Act.
