Bio: Jeff has close to 40 years of retail operations experience. As a leader, he focuses on team member work-life balance promoting Productivity, Teamwork and Commitment. During his career he has been recognized as a strong communicator and analytical with excellent organizational skills. He has developed, implemented and maintained store operational programs for three major retailers including a co-worker customer engagement program focused on simplicity and customer/peer recognition. He currently is the loyalty and public relations manager for IKEA New Haven, interacting with city administrators, community members and TV/print media. He founded a corporate charitable program raising more than $1m for The Hole in The Wall Gang Camp, in Ashford, CT for children with life-threatening illnesses. In his “spare” time, Jeff volunteers as Box Office Manager and Front of House Advisor for Guilford High School Theatre Arts, in Guilford CT. He serves the community in a similar function for their annual Holiday Concerts, the “hottest tickets in town.” Starting in 2021, Jeff joined the brand new Legacy Theatre in Stony Creek, CT as House Manager. This small gem of the Arts presents Mainstage Productions, as well as a Broadway Concert Series where talent from the Great White Way perform cabaret-style concerts in this intimate setting across from the Long Island Sound. Jeff’s behind the scenes entertainment passion also extends to co-producing concerts for Morris ”Mo” Pleasure, former musical director for Earth, Wind & Fire, who performs at fundraising events for Guilford A Better Chance, an organization that Jeff sits on the Board of. GABC offers intelligent and talented young women of color from under-represented communities the opportunity to attend a high quality public high school and a preparatory college-track program in Guilford.
