Bio: The writing bug bit early. After seeing a stage production of Dracula, Jack rewrote the play much to the dismay of his fellow 3rd graders. At the age of 15, he put aside the pen for the pick, and started playing in a series of inept bands, gradually accruing a modicum of talent. For the past 40 years, he's worked in many aspects of the music industry: managing bands, producing records, night managing Tower Records at Lincoln Center, NYC. Jack was a sales rep for Twinbrook Music on the East Coast and DNA on the West. He owned and ran Azra Records (into the ground.) Currently a co-owner of Twinstar Recording in Santee, CA, Jack divides his time between continuing to record albums and film soundtracks, and playing to mostly empty venues. When not doing damage to his (and no doubt other) ears, Jack writes both TV and film scripts. Two feature scripts have been optioned by Destiny Pictures. One, FOR ALLISON has 2 time Oscar nominee Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Tender Mercies, Mr. Church) attached to direct. Two TV pilots are currently out to both talent and producers. A stage play that will make A Long Day's Journey Into Night look like Cats is almost finished as well. When not creating music or dramatic works, Jack toils for a class action law firm as a conduit to the unwashed masses that don't know what 'mm/dd/yyyy' mean. (I wish I was kidding.) Having been part of the team that beat Enron and Trump University, we fight the good fight. Somewhere amidst all of that, Jack resides in a remote canyon next to an Indian reservation with two psychotic mongrels.
