Bio: Harry Strulovici, MD, MPH, received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in Global Public Health from NYU, and his medical degree from the Rutgers Medical School and subsequently an MPH at NYU. He was later appointed at Yale Career Scholar in International Health and sent to work at Mulago Hospital in Uganda. Here, he advocated for changes to reproductive health policy with local university and government officials. In 2008, he founded Life For Mothers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, whose mission is to develop sustainable, cost-effective health policy to reduce maternal/neonatal mortality in developing countries by empowering women and strengthening health systems. He also operated on women who suffered with obstetric fistula. Presently, he serves as a global health consultant to the Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the
 UCLA Anderson School of Management. He has lectured at the New York Academy of Medicine, the World Bank, the mHealth Summit in Washington, DC and the Western Regional International Health Conference at the University of Washington. He was also the lead consultant on PMTCT For Proposal Submission by the Central Republic of Africa (RCA) to the Global Fund (GF). Recently, he was invited to speak at a USAID event - Dr. Strulovici has had letters published in the New York Times, The Lancet and the New Yorker and has appeared on television and radio.
