Bio: Gale Steinman has over 30 years experience working with data in a variety of industries. She began her career writing software for Drexel Burnham but soon after joined Lambda Technologies, where she assumed the role of project manager at Bankers Trust. Utilizing her skills developing systems, she became an instructor providing training to many of the major financial institutions including Teltech, New York Life, Merrill Lynch, UBS-Paine Webber, Bank of New York, Pfizer, applying data processing skills to a multitude of industries. She is currently a data specialist for the NYC Department of Education. Her expertise in database and system design, development and implementation, as well as help desk training, has been utilized throught her career. During her career, she has had a strong commitment to volunteerism, as evident by providing training skills to VESID in the form of offering free training to job seekers. She is committed to providing strong data processing skills to our work force. Her personal mantra is “without data, it’s only an opinion.”
