
Bio: Gail Tifford is the Senior Director of Media and Engagement Strategy for Unilever in North America. She is responsible for overseeing media strategy and implementation across the paid, owned and earned ecosystem for all Unilever categories and brands in the United States and Canada. Prior to this role, Gail was Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Viacom, where she worked with an array of leading marketers in the development of multi-platform media and marketing programs for the MTV and VH1 brands. Earlier in her career, Gail spent more than 10 years at Unilever working across many different brands in a variety of marketing roles. Her most recent role at Unilever was as the Brand Development Director for Beverages, North America, responsible for long-term strategy, including innovation and communication for the Lipton brand in the United States and Canada. Prior to that role, she was the Director of Marketing Excellence, responsible for driving marketing excellence, cultivating superior talent and helping to build a growth-centric organizational culture across the Marketing function.
Gail has a B.A. from Tufts University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
She is Co-Founder of the Craig D. Tifford Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 not for profit and Group Affiliate of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer. Gail resides in Connecticut with her husband and two children.
