Bio: Evelyne R. Matthews BA, CMH is the Chief Executive Officer of Matthews and Matthews Consulting which is a human resources and labor workforce company. Her areas of teaching, training and consulting expertise is divergent and include Diversity, Inclusion and Equity, Human Resources, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Workplace Bullying, Mediation, Workforce Development, Workplace Violence, Managing Stress, Sexual Harassment, Leadership, Team Building, Communication Skills, Mentoring, Executive and Life Coaching. She has over twenty (20) years’ experience in the private and public sectors which includes work in the insurance, law enforcement, telecommunications and information technology industries. She is also a Motivational Speaker to various organizations throughout the United States and whether it is one individual or hundreds she believes in the fundamental necessity of embracing the human condition. She has served either as a mediator or arbitrator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S Postal Service Redress Program and the New York Stock Exchange. She is currently a lecturer at Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations and previously served on the faculty at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Some of the clients that she has provided and continues to provide benchmarked training and consulting to include Arvest Bank, the Bermuda Ministry of Labor, U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Multicultural Institute, DC 37 AFSCME and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Arthur T. Matthews BA, J.D is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of a boutique training and consulting firm. He provides best in class subject matter expertise in the area of supervisory and managerial skills, human resources, organizational change, leadership skills, diversity, inclusion and equity, conflict resolution, talent management, knowledge management, team building, public speaking, sexual harassment awareness, negotiations and communication skills. Some of his clients include Johns Hopkins University, Marshalltown, J.P Morgan Chase, the EEOC, New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, Cornell University, DC 37 AFSCME, CWA 1180, Estee Lauder and the Bermuda Ministry of Labour, Home Affairs and Public Safety. He primarily lectured at NYU and Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations for the last 32 years and the University of Arkansas for over 25 years where he teaches seminar, certificate, boot camp, undergraduate, MPA and MBA courses. In 2017 he lectured a few times at Harvard University School of Law. He was recently appointed a Teaching Professor at Penn State University School of Labor and Employment Relations. He occasionally serves as a mediator and or arbitrator for entities such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and The American Arbitration Association (AAA) Lastly, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law where as President of the Student Body he led hundreds of law students in the march that helped in the enactment of MLK Day as a National holiday and hosted one of the last public appearances of Honorable Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
