Bio: Daniela Peluso is a socio-cultural anthropologist who received her PhD from Columbia University in anthropology and her BFA/BS from New York University’s School of the Arts and School of Business. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at the School of Anthropology & Conservation at the University of Kent. Her research is focused on Amazonian as well as corporate environments. In Lowland South America, she specializes on issues of indigenous urbanization, the environmental economy, health, gender and land rights. Her corporate research focuses on precarity among highly-skilled workers, corruption, workplace culture, and financial markets.
