Bio: As a NYC native and homeowner, Billy Schneider has a deep passion for his city, and a unique appreciation of the real estate process. There is no greater satisfaction for him than making perfect property matches to enhance the quality of life for his clients. Billy prides himself on being your partner and advocate through a process that can be overwhelming, yet exciting. His role is to help you make informed decisions that lead to smart investments. Born and raised in Far Rockaway, Billy developed an innate curiosity and thirst for adventure, leading to a lifelong fascination with NYC’s diverse culture, sports, music, restaurants, shows, and museums. His familiarity with the vibe of Manhattan’s neighborhoods was honed as a teenager working as a bicycle messenger, then for a trucking company pushing clothing racks over the Garment Center. After college he transitioned to film production where his creativity and business acumen blossomed. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to the staffing/recruiting business where he became president and founding partner of Success Unlimited Inc. There he led and grew a team of 40 recruiters providing staffing solutions to Fortune 100 corporations. Eight years later he went to Wall Street, trading oil futures in the pits of the NY Mercantile Exchange, where he became a longstanding member. Billy has been committed to volunteering for many charitable causes including: team coach for an annual youth basketball tournament, VP/board member of Aurora Concept (community outreach, counseling and drug rehab), board member/fundraising organizer for the Charitable Foundation of the NY Mercantile Exchange where he initiated a joint venture with S.C.O.P.E. that has helped send over 20,000 inner city children attend summer camp. Billy was educated at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. Most important, he cherishes spending time with his wife and three children.
