Bio: Ariel is a 22-year old camp fire, bedroom singer-songwriter born in New Jersey, cultivated in Miami, and currently living in New York City. She is a recent graduate of the University of Miami with a B.A. in Theater Arts. While in school, Ariel performed in the musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood. And then Covid hit and Ariel returned to New Jersey to work on her music and songwriting. As a quadruple threat; singer, songwriter, actor and dancer, she has appeared in many musicals, theater performances and solo cabarets, having performed covers at the iconic West End in New York. According to Ariel, her work reflects the vulnerability of what Gen Z is experiencing. “The world’s consciousness is changing and I want to be a small part in sharing honest songs about what it means to be human and a Gen Z. My songs reflect an array of emotions including: broken hearts, what it means to fall in love and coming into your own as your authentic self.” She grew up turning to artists for answers when she did not have the words for herself. She wants to be that bridge for listeners today to build a community and a sense of belonging so that no one, especially in this world right now, ever feels alone. “Young people are going through our midlife crisis now so that we have more time to go live life as our true selves.” Ariel is looking forward to recording her recent songs and collaborating with today’s up and coming producers to bring her music to people who need to hear it. Her dream is to give credit to the kids and adults alike who still feel they have not been heard or seen. She wants her music to change that narrative.
