Bio: Araya is a freelance designer and front-end developer with a background in politics. Born and raised in Thailand, Araya lived in 3 other countries and pursued different approaches to find ways to connect people and make a positive difference. Completing her Masters in Public Policy and several researching roles, she found that even the most important issues can be daunting and inaccessible to the general majority. For Araya, design is her solution to making those issues approachable and engaging. Her works are mediums to enhance the visibility of social and cultural issues. Her style balances playful and unconventional, yet intuitive aesthetics to achieve optimal user experience and engagement. Araya is currently the founder and lead designer at Public, a platform that uses merchandise, aesthetics, and narrative to highlight issues impacting public welfare and the common good.
