Bio: Anne, an attorney licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut, is currently spending time in Atlanta and excited about getting involved with the I Can Do That Foundation. A Georgia native, she has spent the past fifteen years in the northeast, attending Wellesley College in Massachusetts before moving to New York City. Following several years as a caseworker for children in foster care, she entered the accelerated law degree program at Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law. During her school tenure, she interned with Federal Judge Harold Baer of the Second Circuit, aided in criminal defense cases with the Legal Aid Society, and worked in foster care and adoption law with The Law Office of James Abramson. Following law school, she worked in the Civil Courts of New York City as a trial lawyer with the Wall Street firm of Jaffe & Koumourdas, LLP, focusing on insurance defense, and was involved in numerous cases that successfully broke-up fraud rings. More recently, Anne has volunteered with the Sunshine Kids Foundation and with the Fulton County CASA program, as an advocate for children in foster care. She is a 1994 graduate of Atlanta’s Paideia School, received a degree in Psychology from Wellesley College in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law in 2003.
