Calling Next Gen’s Female Founders! The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards is an annual international business plan competition created to identify, support, and encourage projects by female entrepreneurs. First prize for the 7 winners is $100k and 1:1 business mentoring ($30k goes to the 2nd/3rd runner-ups). The awards aim to encourage women who are making concrete contributions to the future of the planet and bringing those business solutions to the largest audiences possible. UN + Young Founders

The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition, a program within UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development Program, is looking for entrepreneurs ages 15-35 who are working on projects contributing to a more peaceful world and championing one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals / 169 Targets. Entries are evaluated by both an expert panel of judges as well as YCEC Community Voting (People’s Choice Award). The deadline to apply is July 31st and winners will be announced Oct 7th in Berlin.
