About the Opportunity: 

 

Will collaborate with the Founder and work to achieve sales goals and targets we collectively design based on a 2020 sales and marketing strategy plan. It’s a great opportunity to build sales funnels, pipeline and become a Director of Sales and grow your own team. It is also a great opportunity to lead the company in growth, productivity, profitability and culture. 

 

The work:

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with all assigned accounts. 
  • Focus on superior customer service, building long-term client relationships 
  • Building effective, and efficient easy to use sales pipelines and systems
  • Research and identify top tier prospects 
  • Work closely with the founder to build long-term relationships
  • Experiment with sales strategies, which might be different for each partner. 
  • Collaborate with the founder on key strategic partnerships 
  • Help identify Client content needs and help shape proposals with Founder
  • Help improve CRM and sales processes 
  • Produce new leads, identify top qualified leads, research new sectors in sustainability  
  • Drive leads and maximizes revenue growth to meet company targets 
  • Identify business opportunities with existing and prospective clients without pressuring them or driving them away from wanting to work with us-
  • Implement best practices and creative strategies for account penetration  
  • Responsible for executing sales and marketing strategy on the East Coast with priority in the tri-state area (CT, NY, NJ) or California. 
  • Potential to manage all national and regional sales and a sales team that you hire.    
  • Seeks an opportunity to really grow into our Director of Sales with eventual salary
  • Maintain a sales balance of new business opportunities along with current business retention and penetration.   
  • Manage and grow our expanding HubSpot CRM and other Business research systems and  tools such as using crunchbase, LinkedIn Pro levels etc
  • Responsible for representing Ecodeo sometimes at events and sometimes conferences if desired.

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • 10+ years’ strong background in sales (preferably interest and passion for the world of  sustainability and / or media ) 
  • Fostering Social Impact, Environmental impact is important to them in their work
  • Seasoned at developing strong pipelines, systems, support and customer relations 
  • Experienced and seasoned at closing media sales 
  • HubSpot CRM knowledgeable, if not a pro
  • Proficient in basic business tools, Google Biz Apps, GDrive, Slack, Asana Hubspot, Zoom) 
  • Position requires initiative and self-motivation, as well as the ability to set priorities, demonstrate good judgment and communicate effectively 
  • Background and passion for sustainability, climate solutions, eco-innovation, renewables, and/or familiarity with B Corps or other conscious brands is ideal
  • Commuting distance to NYC , Bay Area or LA 
  • Strong research skills and enjoys researching clients, brands,  and sustainability sectors
  • Strong communication skills, personable and a team player.
