The Florence Belsky Foundation

Connecting People, Sharing Ideas

Dear Advisors,

2013 was a very exciting year for The Florence Belsky Foundation.  We hosted several new events such as a film festival and music panel, along with our old favorites, First Mondays and Women Who Lunch.  For a full recap of 2013, please see our 2013 Annual Report.

Even bigger changes are coming in 2014!  Along with continuing our networking events, First Mondays and Women Who Lunch, we will also be offering several free educational webinars aimed at individuals in transition through our I Can Still Do That branch.  The first webinar, “Resumes That Land in the ‘A’ Pile”, presented by Shira Harrington of Purposeful Hire, Inc., is now available on our website.

Perhaps the biggest change to come in 2014 is the re-branding and relaunching of our website, which should be live in August.  The new website will have a calendar where advisors can post announcements and events directly and will also have an advisory board listing that is fully searchable by name, industry and geographic location which will enable our advisors to easily make more meaningful connections.

Because we have over 280 advisors from around the globe, our advisory board listing plays an integral role in the Foundation’s mission of “Connecting People, Sharing Ideas” and we need your help to make sure that all bios are up to date and in the proper format for the new website.  If you haven’t submitted a revised bio, click here now to send an email with the revised bio format.  If you need assistance editing your bio, please let us know.

We have also hired one of our young advisors, Ryan Adams, as a consultant to help us with our new Case Statement.  If you are interested in contributing to the Case Statement, please fill out and return this short survey.

We hope to see you at our upcoming First Mondays NYC on July 14 in Central Park and, as always, keep swinging!

– Dan Schneider, Executive Director
