Bio: Writer and educator, public speaker, business owner and consultant. For the past decade, I've worked as an animal protection attorney primarily focused on legislative initiatives. Writing, editing, and strategizing -I completed my BA in English at Rice University, Masters degrees at Georgetown University (Literature) and New York University (Industrial/Organizational Psychology), and JD with a focus on Animal Law at University of Arizona. I work with multiple stakeholders to create new laws or strengthen existing ones on behalf of companion animals, farm animals, animals used in entertainment, and wildlife. I am a member of NYC Bar Association's Animal Law Committee and its Committee on Mindfulness and Well-being in Law. My newest venture, National Parks Yoga, organizes luxury yoga retreats in order to provide people with opportunities to connect with our national lands and wildlife.
