Bio: Natalie Lillard holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, and a Real Estate License in the state of California. She has over 16 years experience working in the social services field and with diverse populations. Her authenticity and passion for what she does permeates through her smile, personality, and commitment to helping others. Natalie has a heart to see others rise above their adversities and the crucibles they face in life so she started Learning to Love Me, a Nonprofit Corporation to inspire and encourage others to learn to love who they are created to be. The focus is on building self-esteem and confidence, healthy relationships, and being balanced within each dimension of life. In October of 2016 in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month Learning to Love Me, a Nonprofit Corporation held its first Healthy Relationship’s Conference in Long Beach, California. Natalie’s motto “love who God created you to be, this is why I’m Learning to Love Me.” In 2017, Natalie spoke as the Keynote Speaker at Vision in You Vision Board Event in Houston, Texas. At an early age Natalie wrote songs, poems, and monologues as a way of expressing herself. Little did Natalie know the expression of her words on paper would be a door way to her passion and gifts as a writer. She joined Drama Production as a Junior in High School and fell in love with the Arts; during this time she was in several plays throughout her Junior and Senior years. In early 2000, Natalie starred as Mahogany Matthews in Shea Givens’ play, “Through the Storm.” Natalie is following her passion as a writer and deeply believes there’s purpose in her passion.
