Bio: Michael Baez has been working in the entertainment industry for almost two decades. He has written, produced and directed 7 short and feature length films and nearly 300 television commercials for Cablevision & Time Warner Cable; as well directed and produced Nude in New York, by Jonisha Rios - the award winning one-woman show that has received critical acclaim on both the East and West coasts.  Michael has also Assistant Directed the Pulitzer Prize Winning play Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz for the South Coast Repertory Theatre and the independent films – How the Garcia Girls Spent their Summer (official selection of the Sundance film festival), Neighborhood Watch, and East Side Story. He was a member of the Independent Feature Project, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers and a graduate of the New York Film Academy where he attended on a scholarship. Michael first discovered yoga 17 years ago when he moved to L.A. from N.Y.  A good friend of his named Onahoua, took him to a 'living room' yoga class and 10 minutes into the class he was hooked! In 2009, Michael became a certified yoga teacher. In fact, his graduation ceremony was held at the grand opening of his own yoga studio. It was one of the very first yoga studios in the Bronx. In 2011, Michael created the Awakened Warrior Yoga Teacher Training.We now have over 250 participants from all over the world including: Argentina, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Canada, London, Liverpool, Mexico, New Zealand, Switzerland, Spain, Israel, Armenia, Japan, Iran, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica, Greece, Costa Rica, Brazil, Turkey, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, the Ukraine, Thailand, Nepal, Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, Italy, India & China. And all throughout the U.S. in: New York, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, San Francisco, Hawaii, Utah, Sacramento and L.A.
