Mary Anne Erickson
Mary Anne Erickson has been an artist since childhood. After graduating from Art Center College of Design in 1973, she moved to New York City where she was a graphic artist and painter for 20 years. She worked for all the major publications including The New York Times and New York Magazine, publishing houses and record companies. In 1993 Mary Anne and husband Richard Erickson opened Blue Mountain Bistro restaurant in Woodstock, NY to rave reviews by critics and diners. In 2007 they changed locations and opened Bistro-to-Go in Kingston, NY. Here Mary Anne has created an environment where "Every Day's a Celebration" sharing her love of life and great food with residents of the Hudson Valley. Her artistic sensibility infuses everything she does from orchestrating elegantly catered events for hundreds of guests to painting alone in her bucolic Woodstock studio.
