Lucy has lived multiple lives and hopes to continue metamorphing. She has been an inner city schoolteacher, a Woodstock Children’s Center first grade teacher and a GED instructor at the Woodstock Youth Center. She was a computer consultant for Blue Cross and a Senior Systems Analyst for Chase Manhattan Bank corporate headquarters. She helped design money transfer systems. She has sold her hand made accessories and her 3 dimensional art pieces to many NYC stores – Macy’s, Henry Bendells, Fiorucci’s, etc. as well as designing merchandise for major bands including the Clash, Pat Benetar and Blondie. She is currently owner and designer at The Turning Mill, a multi-media music and art studio in the Hudson Valley. Most of her life she has been involved in local groups involving children; donating her time and services. She is an election inspector and has even spent some time as a real estate agent. She is the mother of Valen, a talented and creative daughter following in her proud mom’s footsteps. Lucy also comes with all the mainstream credentials-BS in Education from CCNY/ magna cum laude, MS in the child individualized curriculum- CCNY, Computer Programming Certification – NYU, Audio Visual Certification, NYS teaching license, NYC teaching license, Real Estate License, Phi Beta Kappa, Kappa Delta Phi and all that good stuff. She also brings a host of alternative credentials – Body Centered Therapy Certification, Essential Oil Massage-Training Certification I, II and III, Plant Spirit Medicine -one year Apprenticeship, Reiki Master 1 and is now on the path to Reiki 2, 3 and reflexology certifications.
