Leslie K. Malin, LCSW-R, is known as “The Alchemist of Possibility”. She creatively uses her 30+ years of experience as a psychotherapist, life/career transition coach, health coach, human resources training and development professional, consultant, speaker, and entrepreneur to optimize her clients’ lives, talents, and futures. Leslie has expanded her Transition Coaching practice to include Retirement Coaching. “People think everything will be great upon retirement and then discover that it can be the most challenging and difficult time to navigate. This program is focused on working with people in the second-half-of-life to come to terms with the past ; harvest their talents and experience; dream new dreams and move into their future with excitement and purpose.. She is the co-author of The Essential Coaching Book and is working on her forthcoming book, “Cracked Open: Reflections on the Transformative Power of Fear, Doubt & Failure into Unbrindled Courage, Secure Self-Belief and Breakthroughs to Success” (working title). With Ladies Who Launch, she was a facilitator of intensive incubator groups in the Hudson Valley. Additionally, Leslie served as the Executive Director of Jewish Family Services of Ulster County where she designed and managed Project Hope, the first Woman-to-Woman Mentoring Program in Ulster County. Over the years, this program has positively impacted the lives of many women- both Mentor and Associate. She presently has a private psychotherapy practice in Kingston, NY. Leslie has a B.A. from Vassar College and a Masters in Social Work from the Adelphi University School of Social Work. She is a member of the Academy of Clinical Social Workers, and is a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager.
